Indianapolis...or Red Roof Inn WHAT?
Hey there, readers!
This entry is going to be short and sweet...it's late and I'm tired.
ROUGH first day in Indianapolis. And it wasn't even show related...it was all hotel trauma.
We got it sorted out - all is well now - but needless to say, the Extended Stay Deluxe turned out to NOT be one of our favorite places today. And while the tech crew spent the day loading in the show and getting things set up, we as a cast spent the day killing time at Target, Starbucks, Mr. E's (STILL makes me laugh, Eric), and the hotel lobby...until it was time to head to the theater to check it all out and do our mic/sound check.
Once we made it out of the ORIGINAL hotel and over to the NEW hotel, it was time to eat - and so we all just went to the hotel restaurant and ate....and drank...and drank. (I left there pretty water-logged.) And then we spent the rest of the night talking and laughing here in mine and Andrew's GIGANTIC hotel room. ('Charging Rhinos' REALLY is funny...trust me.)
That's about it. It was good to see the show set up on a big, full stage (and by big...i mean ENORMOUS!) It will be interesting to see how it all comes together tomorrow...which will probably be the longest day of our LIVES!
AND - check back late Wednesday night - or anytime there after - for another PHOTO ESSAY of our crazy day in Indy and our first day in the theater....with some hot shots of the venue here at Butler University and of the set....and of COURSE of the HOT cast.
We've got 2 sinks -
Gussy
