MEET THE CAST: Andrew Frace

Well Frace-Fans, I finally have enough photos to show you what you've been waiting for. And actually, it works out good for a few reasons. First of all, it's the LAST Meet The Cast profile - and that's fitting that it's introducing you to 'The Man'...Willy Wonka! And second of all, this morning before we left, we got to meet Andrew's mom, Audrey - so you all get to meet 'The Woman Who Made The Man Possible'...Andrew's Mom!

Andrew Frace is the baby of the cast...weighing in at about 22 years of age or something funny like that. I totally remember 22...I think. And what makes it more exciting is that in just a couple of weeks, Andrew will be having a Birthday - so all of you remember to give him a Happy Birthday shout-out on September 21st. He comes to us from the great state of Maryland - and is a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina. And for those of you that are CLAMORING for more after you finish reading this stellar profile, you can find him at his own website:

Mr. Frace is the last of The Toby's Kids - and just finished up a run of GREASE, playing Eugene, the school nerd. And earlier this year, he played Lefou, in Beauty and the Beast. Some of his other shows have included Seussical, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Ragtime, Snoopy - and some other ones, too. Check out his website - which I have kindly provided - for all the sticky theater-history details. Andrew is a GENIUS at playing the physicality of his characters - and he cracked me UP everytime he was on stage during Grease. All I'm saying is Helen Hayes Adjudicators, I hope you were watching and do the right thing.
Or else....hahahahaha

Beyond the singing and acting, Andrew is the man of a thousand voices. And he's not just one of those people who TRY to do thousands of different accents and voices - he really does them and he's really GOOD at them. I love sitting back and seeing what the NEXT voice is going to be!
He loves thrift store shopping - and just last week showed off his latest find...a rockin' pair of plaid dress pants straight from the 70's. And I think that he also has a strange affinity for green M&M's. He's always demanding a bowl of them in his dressing room, followed by saying, 'Because I'm WILLY WONKA!'

My favorite thing about watching Andrew on stage is that he is an actor who isn't afraid of trying new things with his character. Not only that, but he doesn't let what he is doing become stale - he is ALWAYS trying new things...and changing things up....and trying to keep his character fresh. It is fun to watch him explore Wonka - and see him grow and develop in the role. Oh yeah - AND...he has the COOLEST Wonka-Bar-Pillow that he brought in the van today.

So line up at the gates with Golden Tickets in hand...it's time for you to meet...ANDREW FRACE!
