The Tour Marches On....

A lot to report...covering 3 states in 4 days...and lots of pictures of fun people doing fun things in fun locations. Who could ask for more?

Our crazy schedule took us from Farmington, New Mexico to Durango, Colorado and (after a brief couple of nights in luxurious Green River), Salt Lake City, Utah. We got to see the amazing Aztec Ruins National Monument in Aztec, New Mexico. WELL worth the trip...and a real undiscovered gem in the National Park System. We got to kick the streets of Durango and shop, eat and take it all in at break-neck speed...complete with National Tour Manager Kirsten and Awesome Director Graham in tow! (Thanks for a great dinner, Kirsten. Seriously...the porkloin changed my LIFE!) We got to experience the magic of the truck-stop-community that IS Green River, Utah...after our drive trough beautiful Southern Utah and completely missing Arches National Park. Good work, us. And now we are kickin' around the streets of the host city of the 2002 Olympic Games...SALT LAKE CITY. A full day of shows await us tomorrow...and more exploring the streets of the SLC before we head out on Wednesday. Nothing like spending 36 hours in every major Western US City.

Enjoy the photos...and keep on truckin.

Here we are as our tour begins at the Ruins in NM. Roe took the role of Tour Guide and read to us out of the tour guide book.

Various shots of various ruins from various locations.

More shots around the ruins.

L: The group at Aztec Ruins National Monument. R: Graham takes a walk through the ruins.

The incredible shrinking doorways of the ruins.

Roe and Jeffrey embrace the exploring spirit!

Steve shows off the wall or something.

Inside the 'Great Kiva'

A magic moment in Farmington, NM.

...and then Steve got hooked on the video games. Trouble.

A piece of caramel apple cheesecake. Not so good. Another good idea gone wrong. Crust not good. Cheesecake not good. And WHY was it served sideways? Weird. On the MASE, a low 5. Maybe even a high 4.

Everyone enjoys a great dinner compliments of Kirsten in Durango!

Jeffrey gets his Latino on in Durango.

L: The venue in Durango. R: The cast says good-bye to Graham and Kirsten!

Views from our drive from Durango to Green River.

The Rainbow Connection in the middle of Colorado. (The last one is with the magical COLOR ACCENT feature we all know and love....)

A cool rock outside Moab, Utah. Notice the color accent.....

Roe finds the fun in Green River, Utah.

Our first major stop in SLC was at the Conference Center. Our delightful guide is in the middle of the group.

The gang outside the Conference Center.

Views from the roof of the Conference Center.

The group in front of the Salt Lake City Temple. And then the Temple itself.

Roe lends a helping hand on the streets of SLC.

The Banana Cheesecake at Bombara...a delicious SLC restaurant. MUCH better than the one above. Great, thick cheesecake...amazing subtle banana flavor. A high 8 on the MASE.

The blower of the night...my FLIP FLOP BROKE! So guess who walked 6 blocks of SLC barefoot? Yours truly! A truly magical 4 days!
