Ridiculous Pics From Traveling

First travel stop: Best Western in Sommerset, PA. . .and THIS was the awesome view from my hotel room.

And HERE it is! Katie waves to us. Basically, think 2-story Double-wide trailer. And they advertised it as...."The newest, nicest property in Sommerset." Hot tub? Check. No water. Gym? Check. With a treadmill that didn't work. But we survived - it was only one night.

Jeffrey had a run in with a greeter at Wal-Mart...and the greeter won. (Since this photo was taken, the glasses situation has been fixed.)

Evidently, in Portage, IN, midget pirate skeletons are VERY popular Halloween decorations. Can you blame them? Midgets are scary. Pirates are scary. Skeletons are scary. Combining them? GENIUS!

Upon arrival in Eau Claire, WI, awesome cousin CINDY drove up from LaCrosse, WI to meet me for dinner and catch up! Here she is, showing off the maps and internet documents that helped her in her drive. Her husband, Cory, would've come, IF the Minnesota Vikings hadn't been busy beating the Washignton Redskins.
