Happy Monday

So. It's Monday. The cast of Willy Wonka is in Washington DC. And by the time most you read this, we will be done with our sole-purpose for the trip. We flew here from Sacramento last night - and we fly to Seattle tomorrow afternoon - and tomorrow morning, we take a scaled-down, concert-ish version of the show to the White House! We are performing for the President, the First Lady, and an invited audience of guests consisting of children who have parents serving in the Middle East AND a press corps bigger than any I've ever seen.
Anyway - it's not a political thing....it's done every year...and so those of you not cool with George W can stop rolling your eyes. (I'm pretty sure the Clinton's did it too...phew. Just with different children. I think they did it with the children from the village they were raising.) It's an amazing opportunity - and because of it, I'm signing off and going to bed! We have to be up and out of the hotel at 6:00am...soooo....I need my beauty rest! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
