Only Graceland

So apologies...my computer problems extended WELL past one day. I was not able to do anything all weekend and there were pictures piling up and stories to be told and it was TERRIBLE. But tonight, thanks to the AMAZING help of stage-manager-friend Elisa's dad, DAVID, in California, we got the problem bandaged and I'm back to working and able to do what I need to do to get the truth out to you, the readers, for the last week of tour. And I believe I just heard a collective sigh of RELIEF from the masses.
So Memphis was off the CHAIN! We did Graceland - we did Beale Street in style - and...we hung with the cast of Barbie LIVE! in Fairytopia, who was also in town. But all of that takes a back seat at this point to the pictures from GRACELAND!
This entry is all Elvis - all Graceland - all THE KING! Tomorrow, I will catch you up with the rest of the pictures from the rest of the weekend. But I think he deserves the attention of this entry. As we all know, attention MUST be paid.
Ladies and gentlemen....I give you....a photo tour of GRACELAND. Where lives were changed, stories were told and hearts were touched.
Enjoy.

The fun starts in the parking lot...and continues all throughout the grounds of Graceland. Just follow the burgundy awnings. C'mon everybody...

The gang waits in line to board the shuttle bus to The House. We were in Memphis...so we said it's now or never....

Um...read the plaque. And don't say I don't want to.

A couple views of the house...which Elvis bought when he was 22. He realized he had to follow that dream...

A couple of my favorite pics from the house. I think you can figure out the subjects. And just look at Priscilla's face. I mean... you can't help falling in love...

shots from inside the house....L: the dining room....R: the living room and piano room...BOTTOM: Elvis's parents room.

more house shots....L: the kitchen. pretty humble kitchen for a rock star. R: looking down into the jungle room. BOTTOM: pool room.

The back of the house. L: The house. R: Lisa Marie's swing set. R: The pastures.

L: Schardin gets lost in the audio-tour of The House. R: Hoops and Yoyo enjoy playing in the backyard at Graceland. They thought the audio tour was a bit much. They were looking for a little less conversation.

The tour shows you everything from office furniture to personal furniture used by the King.

In "The Trophy House", you get to take a look at all the Gold Records and movie memorabilia from his long, successful career in music, movies and movies with music. He was known to follow that dream where ever that dream would lead him...

Elvis. Singer. Actor. Producer. Father. STYLE ICON!

On stage or off. Young or Old. Fat or Thin. Elvis and his styles were always the coolest for the time. I mean...blue pant suit anyone? YES PLEASE! One for Wednesday's and one for Saturday's. And a pair of blue seude shoes, too.

The raquetball court outback at Graceland was converted into another 'Trophy House' type place...to house more of the King's costumes, records, posters and paraphenalia.

Fans come from around the WORLD to pay tribute to Elvis here at his gravesite. This thing on the right is from Elvis fans in Japan.

Hoops and Yoyo pay their respects. The were all shook up.

Eric laid his offering at the gravesite...and no sooner than he placed it did the sun shine on the mermaid. We were pretty sure it was the spirit of Elvis saying that's all right.

Looking back over the Meditation Gardens...and catching Hoops and Yoyo meditating.

I catch Chris and Elisa demonstrating their burning love by the pool...and then moments later, meditating in the gardens...

****WOW! Recounting all of this is taking a LONG TIME! And since I have to wake up early and do 2 shows tomorrow...I will leave you now and load the rest of the pics tomorrow afternoon. Get over it...atleast you'll have something to look forward to!
Thanks for hanging in there.....
